Alan Fitzgerald
President and Chief Technology Officer
As founder, chief technology architect, and company visionary, Alan Fitzgerald provides both strategic business and technical leadership at Adtron. Under Alan's strategic direction, Adtron has designed and produced significant industry-leading technological advances in the areas of solid state flash disks and storage blades. Widely recognized as an authority in industrial- and defense-grade data storage, Alan has authored numerous articles and spoken at multiple events on this topic.
After working as an electrical engineer for such companies as Motorola, Hamilton Test Systems, and Audiometer Systems, Alan's natural leadership abilities, entrepreneurial skills, and the idea to integrate the then fledgling technology of solid state memory into industry standard form factors led to the formation of Adtron Corporation in 1985.
Alan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, and an MS in Engineering from Arizona State University.

Bob Benkendorf
Chief Executive Officer
Joining Adtron in 1998, Bob Benkendorf brings extensive corporate executive experience to the company and is responsible for architecting and implementing the strategic plans and policies as approved by Adtron's Board of Directors. Bob's responsibilities touch all functional areas within the company, providing leadership to the management team in developing and executing departmental strategies and goals, and ensuring continuity with corporate directives. He has ultimate responsibility for the long-range strategic planning, corporate financial structure, shareholder and banking relations, joint ventures, and strategic business relationships.
Prior to joining Adtron, Bob held the position of VP of Business Development for Decision One where he was responsible for worldwide business and revenue growth, including corporate acquisitions. During his tenure, Bob's sales and marketing acumen led to an overall revenue growth from $70 million to over $700 million. His career in technology includes executive level positions in marketing and sales with IDEA, Alcatel, ITT and IBM.
Bob earned his BA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame.

Barry Needham
Chief Operating Officer
Barry Needham joined Adtron in October 2007 as Chief Operating Officer responsible for all engineering, operations and quality functions. He is focused on building the organizations and operational processes to support Adtron's rapid growth rate. His extensive experience in deploying technology to support operations plays an important role in building Adtron.
With over 30 years in high technology, Needham has experience in both large companies and startup situations. His background included senior management roles in engineering and worldwide operations for Sun Microsystems, Xyterra Computing, Silicon Graphics, and Apple Computer.
Barry earned his BS in Computer Science and Finance at Utah State University.

Wade Campbell
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development
Wade Campbell joined Adtron in February 2007, bringing over 25 years of experience in the enterprise and embedded computing industries with critical leadership roles in marketing, product planning, and business development, in both large and start-up organizations. Wade and his team at Adtron are responsible for product planning and marketing, as well as strategic alliances.
Wade's most recent position was with Motorola Inc., where he was Sr. Director of Strategic Marketing for the Embedded Communications Computing group. Prior to Motorola, Wade was Director of Marketing for server and storage product lines in Dell Computer's education, government, and healthcare segments. He has also held senior business management and marketing positions in Intel's High End Server division where he was responsible for product definition and industry enabling for the first high-volume servers, including the first IA64 servers. At Sequent Computer Systems, Wade's marketing leadership paved the way for broad market adoption of symmetrical multi-processing and Unix for use in mission-critical commercial database applications.
Wade holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and a Masters degree in Statistics from the University of Utah.

Gloria Zemla
Chief Financial Officer
Gloria Zemla came to Adtron in 2000 with an extensive career in various executive-level financial positions with technology companies. As the CFO and Corporate Secretary at Adtron, she is responsible for all aspects of financial and treasury management and planning. Gloria also is responsible for coordinating legal activities of Adtron.
Prior to joining Adtron, she was the CFO, Secretary/Treasurer of Sitek Corporation, a publicly-traded technology company where she was responsible for all financial and treasury management issues as well as for SEC reporting, investor relations, and business acquisition coordination.
Previously, she held the position of Vice President, CFO and Secretary/Treasurer of ASM America, Inc., a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer. Gloria was responsible for overall financial, treasury, legal, and information technology management for ASM America and all its subsidiaries. Additionally, Gloria managed major litigation activity, product-line acquisitions, and an R & D limited partnership throughout her tenure at ASM. Early in Gloria's career, she worked with an international CPA firm on the auditing staff, a Fortune 50 manufacturing company, and a semiconductor foundry start-up company.
Gloria holds a BS in Accounting and Business Administration from Wayne State University and is a CPA, licensed in Michigan.

Huy Phan
Quality and Reliability Director
Huy Phan has over 20 years of experience managing global quality in major corporations. He joined Adtron in 2006 with a mission to continue building a process-based quality organization leveraging advanced quality principles and tools successfully used in world-class models around the world.
Prior to Adtron, Huy was the Director of External Quality Engineering at Motorola Semiconductors managing all aspects of quality from world-wide external wafer fabrication and packaging sources. At another time, Huy served as Director of Quality supporting all manufacturing operations for Motorola Semiconductors manufacturing in Austin, Texas. He was also the Director of Corporate Quality Engineering at Amkor Technology in Chandler, Arizona, one of the biggest semiconductor manufacturing companies in the world.
Huy is one of the first Six Sigma Black Belts in America. He served as one of the founding members of the Motorola Corp. Six Sigma Black Belt Steering Committee to mentor numerous Black Belts and Green Belts around the world.
Huy holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and is an author of several advanced statistical books and publications.

Bob Lazaravich
Engineering Director
Bob Lazaravich joined Adtron in 2006 to provide strong technical leadership to Adtron's engineering department. An accomplished Electrical Engineer, Bob's mission is to direct the design and development of intellectual properties and their integration into the current and future generation of Adtron data storage solutions.
As a former Motorola veteran, Bob's experience spans 25 years in the design and development of electronic systems. Bob has a diverse hardware and software engineering background, including expertise in high-speed digital and analog design, microprocessors, image processing and several leading technology designs implemented with FPGAs. While at Motorola, Bob received a patent for his work in creating instruction accelerator circuitry for SIMD-based image processor systems. Prior to Adtron, Bob was employed by Eagle Test Systems as a senior design engineer.
Bob earned his BS and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University.

Jamie Horton
Operations Director
Jamie Horton's experience in operations management spans 21 years in high tech manufacturers. With Adtron since February 2000, Jamie directs the purchasing, test engineering, manufacturing assembly, outsourcing relationships and inventory functions while adhering to and maintaining the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system.
Prior to joining Adtron, Jamie worked at ITT Courier for over 20 years, working her way up through the ranks to manage the manufacturing and quality functions. She has managed the implementation of sophisticated ERP/MRP systems and has diverse management experience in manufacturing operations.

Myril Shaw
Managing Director, International Sales
Joining Adtron in January 2007, Myril Shaw brings over 25 years of sales, marketing, business development, and management experience with a focus on international business. At Adtron, Myril is responsible for directing current international sales channels, as well as the development and expansion of the company's growing global presence.
Myril comes to Adtron with an extensive background in both start-up and large corporate environments. Most recently, Myril was Director of Worldwide OEM Development for RLX Technologies. Prior to RLX Technologies, Myril served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Marathon Technologies, a developer of fault-tolerant software solutions. He managed and developed growing worldwide channels and revenues as Vice President of Global Channels for Internet Dynamics. In addition, Myril opened the Asia-Pacific region for Sequent Computers.
Myril holds a BA degree in Psychology and Mathematics from Middlebury College.

Mike Guzzo
North American Sales Director
Mike Guzzo, Director of North American Sales is responsible for direct and indirect sales management, major account sales strategy and distribution sales strategies in North America. Mike has been with Adtron since 2000 where he is responsible for sales growth through current channels as well as development of new channels.
Mike has been a successful sales executive with major computer organizations. His roles include Major Account Representative, Sales Director and Director of Alliance Sales for DecisionOne Corporation.
Mike holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Western Illinois University.
