Adtron ArrayPro™ technology beats at the heart of every Adtron Flashpak™ flash disk. Since 1997, ArrayPro technology has delivered advanced parallel flash array processing. Originally implemented in software, today's patent-pending products solution is hardware driven to provide unparalleled flash performance, capacity and scalability previously unachieved in the flash disk industry.
Unlike flash drives provided by most manufacturers, Adtron's Flashpak products do not require any volatile front-end RAM cache thanks to Adtron's unique read/write performance accelerator technology. The need for a backup power source is eliminated resulting in a significant savings in power, weight and space.
ArrayPro technology, along with increasingly economical solid state memory, provides customers with a superior alternative to hard disk drives (HDDs) than previously available within the industry for a myriad of demanding defense, aerospace, telecom and industrial applications. In addition, Adtron's data security EraSure™ technology is included with many of our Flashpak solid state flash disk drives, providing clear and sanitize functionality.
As an integral part of the Adtron SmartStorage™ architecture, the type of flash media and host interface is transparent to the ArrayPro engine. SCSI, IDE, Serial ATA and SAS are readily adaptable to the technology without duplicating development efforts, providing a faster and simpler integration into your platform.
Recent field tests show UDMA-100 sustained performance at 65 MBytes/second for a 2.5-inch IDE flash disk drive. A standard 3.5-inch form factor solid state flash disk currently supports 128 GBytes capacity with sustained read/write performance of 70 MBytes/sec. Inherent scalability will allow us to provide several hundred GBytes of capacity and achieve performance levels in excess of 100 MBytes/sec. Adtron ArrayPro technology is the future of flash disk management, delivering unsurpassed performance and highly scalable capacity for a given form factor.
