In addition, the qualitative attributes of reliability and durability must be carefully considered in order for a storage product to be a storage solution that addresses the real needs of an application. Leveraging its modular architecture, Adtron can deliver a full spectrum of solution functionality —not just one-off disk based and flash based products. Adtron Corporation is solely dedicated to the design and manufacturing of data storage solutions specifically targeted to the demanding requirements of the defense and industrial markets. Support
Proper support for mission critical applications begins at the first customer engagement, with comprehensive application review and product recommendation processes. For us, such pre-sales activities involve our technical sales and field application engineers, to enhance our ability to carry the customer through the stages of storage requirements definition, validation and qualification.
Once qualified for delivery into production, Adtron’s direct field engineering and local product representatives provide ongoing field support. As a result of this total sales support,our customers benefit from a unique blend of continuity, application understanding and knowledge sharing.
Field experience is fed back into the technical organization within Adtron to ensure that future designs benefit from such iterative, ‘real world’ lessons. For fifteen years, Adtron solutions have benefited from this type of evolutionary knowledge, gained from our practical, hands-on experience.
Production
The Adtron ISO:9001 quality system has evolved over time – from 20 years of commitment to the long term production and support of our customers. A hallmark of our strong engineering foundation is our strong component and supplier selection and qualification processes. Throughout Adtron’s component selection, design qualification and manufacturing stages, customers benefit from our end-to-end testing and understanding of product suitability to their demanding industrial applications.
Obsolescence Management
Unlike many other industries, the majority of Adtron’s customers require support for five or more years, and some as many as fifteen. Through product design criteria and assignment of customer specific build specifications, Adtron manufactures products for years after the initial customer qualification. Customers with controlled build specifications receive change notices in advance of component obsolescence and the resulting changes.
A key benefit of working from qualified parts lists and through qualified suppliers are the rapid delivery of industrial quality data storage products.
