Huy Phan, Experienced Six Sigma Exec, Tapped to Lead Quality Intiatives
Phoenix, AZ - August 23, 2006 - Flash solid state disk manufacturer Adtron Corporation, the industry leader in delivering smart data storage solutions to the industrial marketplace, announced today that Huy Phan has joined Adtron Corporation as its Director of Quality and Reliability. Mr. Phan will be responsible for the long-term strategic direction of Adtron industrial flash product quality and reliability initiatives to plan for and meet evolving market requirements.
As one of the first Six Sigma Black Belts in the USA and a seventeen-year Motorola (NYSE:MOT) veteran, Mr. Phan has designed, implemented and managed world-class quality and reliability systems for large-scale, electronics manufacturing facilities throughout the United States, Asia and Europe.

Mr. Phan is a recognized authority on quality and process control, authoring standards for Motorola's multinational manufacturing facilities. He is the author of Design of Experiments, an advanced statistical analysis book, published by Addison-Wesley. He has designed and delivered multiple quality training programs worldwide and has published and presented technical papers at several quality related international symposiums.
